The Chatbot That Tries to Figure You Out

I've been working on this chatbot for a while now. I actually started before ChatGPT was a thing, and "Curious Friend" works differently from all that GenAI stuff, which I find boring and predictable. I don't think GenAI will live up to all the hype; it really doesn't understand anything. "Curious Friend" tries to understand you and reply to what you say by quoting from just under 1000 books. Some of the quotes are off base, admittedly. "Curious Friend" is not like a person, and never will be, but at least it occasionally says something mildly amusing. I guess I should be talking it up more, but it is, what it is. It also posts links to interactive fiction.
